We keep natural colors (1, 1B, 2, 4, 30) ready, but any fun colors need to be sent to the suite ahead of time so they’re prepped for your child’s appointment. Aftercare is available at checkout

KJB Exclusive services are designed for clients with high-top cuts, undercuts, fades, or tapered sides who want both a clean cut and a signature protective style. Every service includes customized sectioning, detail work, and a gentle, disciplined approach to hair and scalp care. These services blend barbering + braiding + loc artistry into one seamless session. Perfect for clients who want to walk out polished, styled, and confidently themselves.

Haircuts include wash and quick style. Braids/twists must arrive clean, detangled, and stretched. Prices vary by length and complexity. Standard colors (1, 1B, 2, 4, 30) are stocked — any other colors must be sent to the suite in advance, or an Overlapping Fee will apply.

Healthy-hair services for clients wearing their natural texture. Includes cleansing, conditioning, blow-dry, and a simple finish unless noted. Perfect for silk presses, braid-outs, trims, and weekly maintenance.

Protective styles using your natural hair only. Choose Home Prep if you arrive washed, detangled, and blown out. Choose Salon Prep if you need a full cleanse, detangle, and blowout before styling. Salon Prep includes wash, deep detangle, and blowout. Home Prep requires hair to be clean, fully detangled, and stretched. If your hair is not prepped as selected, your appointment will be adjusted to Salon Prep pricing.

Maintenance for clients who already have mature locs. Includes cleansing, detoxing (as needed), retwisting, and styling options. Time and price vary by hair density, loc count, and chosen technique.

Custom color services designed specifically for clients with locs. Locs require more product, slower saturation, gentle rinsing, and protective care — this category ensures accurate timing, pricing, and results. All new color clients must book a consultation.

Relaxers, perms, keratin, and professional color. Deposits are required for all chemical services. Consultation will be needed before booking.
